Physical activity and comprehensive nutrition education are especially important for children. Studies have shown that children who participate in quality physical education programs fare better physically and mentally than children who are not physically active. Research also shows that teaching good nutrition skills early in life establishes habits that last a lifetime. For these reason the Nicholas A. Ferri Middle School is dedicated to providing our students with the skills necessary to leave a healthy lifestyle.
Please Note: Students MUST pass Physical Education and Health with a 70% to be promoted to the next grade.
Due to the nature of Physical Education class in consideration for the safety of the students, street clothes and street shoes are not permitted during class activity.
